yep. we already know all about it. that which isn't the point of the infographic. it's the fact the New York Times devoted time to making such a detailed map of a 3D printer. and published it!

it came out last week. it's a biography of Richard Fernman drawn as a comic book. it's an easy read. you can enjoy it in one go. or you can stop often letting the stories sink in over a bunch of days. there are two lectures included toward the end. go slow or re-read a panel until you get the full affect. because after you read it you will understand what it's like to be a theoretical particle physicist even if you aren't. don't worry, the effect won't last long. you'll return to your normal self soon enough.
